This is a collection of recipes passed down by the Houghton sisters ~ Barbara, Dorcas & Frances.
An idea that became a reality when family bonded together to gather recipes from the past. I would like to thank everyone for their submissions. Many a memory we have from these tasty treats and hopefully by putting them all together ~ many more can be made.

Caramel Cashew Tarts
Caramel Cashew Tarts
1 2/3 caramel ice cream topping
½ cup brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter (soft or melted)
½ tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup chopped cashews
Mix all ingredients well.Bake at 400 degrees for 20 mins.
Just an ordinary girl, living a normal everyday existence. I am married to a wonderful man and have 2 children of the 4 legged furry variety that I love dearly. I love the outdoors, flowers, music and most of all my family and my friends.
