Cookies ~ Sugar

Mom’s (Aunt Jeanne’s) Sugar Cookies (probably Grammie’s too!)


5 c. flour

2 c. sugar

1 tbsp. baking powder

1 tbsp. cream of tartar

½ tsp. baking soda

2 c. butter/margarine

Mix well and then add

4 eggs

¼ c of milk

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

  1. Thank you so much for putting up these recipes! I remember my mom making some of these - the cinnamon bread, pineapple cherry load. Brings back so many wonderful memories. Now I can make them too. Thanks again!
