Butterscotch Candy

Butterscotch Candy


2 cups white sugar

¼ cup of cream

4 tbsp. butter

2/3 cups of corn syrup

¼ cup water

To the sugar, add cream and water. Stir over heat until sugar is all melted.

Cover and bring to a boil. Let simmer 3 minutes.

Uncover and keep testing in cold water until it forms a brittle mass.

Still cooking stirring occasionally. Add salt.

Put in greased pan. (shallow pan like a cookie sheet)
