Boiled Icing

Boiled Icing


2 egg whites

¾ c sugar (brown or white)

1/3 c corn syrup

2 tbsp water

¼ tsp cream of tartar

¼ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

Put all except vanilla in a double boiler.

Mix with hand held mixer till stiff peaks form.

Add vanilla and stir just until combined.
